Recover the oil, carbon, and steel locked inside end-of-life tires.

Revive Energy has developed a proprietary continuous thermal conversion technology that converts end-of-life tires into valuable products: recycled tire pyrolysis oil, recovered carbon black, recycled steel, and process gas that powers much of the system itself. Most scrap tires are burned as fuel or buried, and the oil, carbon black, and steel locked inside them are lost. Closing that gap is why the company exists.

    Chief Executive Officer

    Jesse grew up in Libby, Montana, and took his first job out of high school as a laborer at Libby Dam, where a hands-on education in hydroelectric generation became a lasting interest in energy. He earned a degree in Power Plant Technology (Stationary Engineering) from Bismarck State College, then built a career in financial services working with individuals and business owners on planning, tax efficiency, and succession. In 2017, at 27, he was elected to the Missoula City Council as its youngest member, serving on committees including Administration and Finance, Budget, Public Works, and Parks and Conservation, where his focus on practical conservation deepened. He writes and comments regularly on finance and public policy.

    Ron was born in Great Falls and raised in East Helena, downwind of the ASARCO smelter, an upbringing that shaped a career spent cleaning up industry. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Montana State University (1972), is a licensed professional engineer in Montana, Wyoming, and North Dakota, and is a career member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He has served three terms on the Montana Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, including as presiding officer. Across five decades in environmental process development and industrial and nuclear waste treatment, Ron has patented multiple processes in water treatment and waste management. He leads Drake Water Technologies and co-owns Drake Engineering with his wife of 50 years, Vivian. Revive Energy's pyrolysis and scrubbing systems are his design.

    Chief Operations Officer

    Paul finished his electrical apprenticeship, bought a small Missoula shop called Anchor Electric, and with his partners built it into one of Montana's largest electrical contractors, operating across 23 states. Anchor runs a dedicated alternative energy division focused on solar and wind, has delivered major communications infrastructure for national carriers, and shows up for its community, from donated lighting for Habitat for Humanity builds to wiring the River City Roots Festival. Paul brings the construction, electrical, and safety discipline that lets Revive Energy move from project to project quickly and correctly.

    Board Member

    Martin Stuart spent 33 years at Marathon Oil, progressing through operational and strategic leadership roles and serving on the executive team before retiring in 2024. His work centered on operational excellence, enterprise risk management, and financial oversight. He holds an honors degree in electronic and electrical engineering and began his career in the UK and Norway before moving to the United States. At Revive he helps sharpen strategic intent, prioritize milestones, and build the systems needed to scale.

Revive Energy's founders grew up outdoors in the rural Northwest and got tired of watching scrap tires pile up with no one doing anything serious about it. The company was founded in Missoula in 2020, and its continuous thermal conversion technology is custom-built by a world-class fabricator in the same city, where the founders can supervise quality and environmental practice directly. Keeping fabrication in America is a deliberate choice: it keeps standards visible and puts people to work here. Tires are the first feedstock; difficult-to-recycle plastics are the next.

Tires are just the beginning.

Tires are our initial feedstock because they provide a compelling commercial opportunity and solve a significant waste problem, but they are really just the beginning. Our long-term vision is to deploy this same platform to process difficult-to-recycle plastics. The United States generates tens of millions of tons of plastic waste every year, yet only a small percentage is recycled into new products. We believe advanced thermal conversion technologies will become an essential part of rebuilding a domestic circular economy, recovering valuable hydrocarbons that can be reused by American manufacturers instead of being buried in landfills or shipped overseas.
